Julian de la Guardia

At 18 years old, I picked up the phone and made over 300 cold calls a day—not because I had to, but because I wanted to. I was thrown into the world of real estate, learning the fundamentals of sales, negotiation, and persistence. Some might have been intimidated by rejection, but I saw every call as an opportunity—to connect, to understand, and to help people make life-changing decisions. What started as a job quickly became my passion, and that passion has only grown stronger.

But my story didn’t start with real estate.

I was raised in Omaha, moving from home to home with my mother, who worked tirelessly to create a better life for us. Each move came with new challenges, but my mom made sure every place felt like home. I saw firsthand how the right home could offer stability, opportunity, and hope. That experience shaped me. It taught me that a home is more than just four walls—it’s a foundation for life.

My father’s journey was different. He spent much of my childhood incarcerated, and the time I did have with him showed me a different side of Omaha. While I spent my younger years in West Omaha with my grandmother, my visits to North and South Omaha gave me a duality of experience—two vastly different worlds that shaped my understanding of people, neighborhoods, and opportunities. That contrast fueled my drive to make my own way and to help others build their futures, no matter where they came from.

Real estate became my vehicle for impact.

At 19, I earned my real estate license and went all in—helping over 20 clients buy and sell homes in my first year, while also investing in properties myself. I saw firsthand how real estate could change lives, build wealth, and create generational stability. But like any great journey, I faced hard lessons. In my pursuit of bigger opportunities, I left the people who had first believed in me. It was a mistake that taught me the true value of loyalty, relationships, and integrity.

That realization led me to eXp Realty, where I found a culture of support, collaboration, and innovation. Since joining, I’ve had my best year yet, nearly doubling my production and expanding the ways I serve my clients. Now, I’m focused on helping families find their perfect home, guiding investors to smart opportunities, and ensuring my clients make the most strategic real estate moves possible.
